I've been taking my animals to Fox Lake Animal Clinic/Hospital for over 17 years. Yes, that means several dogs and cats. Dr Bo has handpicked the best staff in the world, and the fact that they don't do appointments is a non-issue. How ticked off are you when you HAVE an appointment and have to sit for an hour? I've learned to plan our vet visits, and even in emergencies, if you are a regular patient, there are always rules to bend. BE REASONABLE. My last two dogs died of strange and complicated diseases, and Dr Bo and Dr Marie worked together to diagnose and help treat them both, while at the same time, being careful not to bankrupt me. The first dog had to be euthanized, and Dr Bo did it himself and stayed with me the entire time. So compassionate. My last dog died at home, but we weren't sure just what killed her (I didn't have the money or the heart to open her up just to see what it was). They were able to tell me after death, that she'd died of stomach cancer. Again, Dr Bo ta
