If you are expecting to be waited on promptly by a friendly face, forget Mozzicato's. If you need to be somewhere on time, don't bother stopping in.\r

If you're a busy bride and groom and make an appointment for a cake tasting, expect to be ignored. And be prepared to wait half an hour while the owner's daughter (with whom you made the appointment) sits in the caffe chatting.\r

I used to frequent Mozzicato's, mostly the caffe, and put up with the lack of service since it's the only game in town, decent cappu and cannoli at a late hour etc, but I was never happy about the wait.\r

Now I will go out of my way to NOT recommend them. I found better service, even as a walk-in, at Modern down the street. And we're getting our wedding cake from them, Gina. So you lost my $$$ and I will be sure to spread the word.
