I made an appointment for my precious dog last year because she had a hard lump on her spine. They were able to fit her in the same day I called. Fearing the worst I was scared to death, The vet we saw gave me several options but recommended the least intrusive which was to try antibiotics first. She said that a biopsy might now give accurate information since the lump was smallish. Even the fine needle thing might now prove anything since it would be too easy to remove material "near" the lump instead of within it. I was fearful for days but the antibiotics did the job. I appreciated the fact that they gave me options and explained the pros and cons of each. I have appointments this week for both of my dogs. Would definitely recommend. Bobbye
