I had taken a bridesmaid dress to Ava about 3 years ago and I remember her prices then being a little expensive but not completely crazy. I took a dress recently and made the mistake of not asking about the price before she did work on it. For taking up two straps on the dress and adding a tiny little snap to keep my bra strap covered- she charges me $85!!!!!!!!! I doubt that the work could have taken much more then an hour. \r

When I told her how absurd I thought the price was she was completely oblivious. She is clearly out of touch with reality when it comes to pricing. \r

I will absolutely never go back. I'm getting married soon and will make sure to tell all 12 of me bridesmaids NOT to see this woman, unless they want to pay more than the dress cost to get it tailored.
