Businiess name:  Ruffner's Luxury Pet Boarding
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
We have used Ruffners a couple of times in the past and had no issues, until this last stay. I boarded both of my dogs there for 5 days. When we picked them up the girl at the desk told us that one of our dogs had gotten injured during some "rough play" with another dog the previous day but they had looked it over, cleaned it up and that she was fine. I looked at it and it didn't seem to be an issue. 2 days later her eye is nearly swollen shut and definitely infected. She wound up with an 1 1/2" gash that required 5 staples to close. Ruffners was apologetic but I was reminded that "dogs in day care can get hurt" and that I had "signed a waiver when I brought them in".\r \r Use them knowing that they won't be responsible if your dog gets hurt in their care. I won't be going back
