I am from Kentucky originally, lived in Atlanta for 3 years, and now have moved back to Kentucky, but I still come down to visit. On one of my trips, the transmission on my car let go on the way into town right down the road from this shop. Their tow truck driver was happening past me and stopped to help me, just to be nice. He ended up towing me into the shop just to see what happened.\r

When I found out it was my transmission, my heart fell into the pit of my stomach. I was only down for a long weekend and it looked like I was gonna spend it in a Motel 6 waiting on my car, alienating my friends for rides. To my surprise and delight, they told me that they had a used one in stock they would install in my car for under $1000. They also were going to lend me a car for free (with a deposit toward the work being done) (YAY!! NO RENTAL!!) and they would have it done by Saturday afternoon so I could get home in time.\r
