Forget the Dominos and all that if you live in Altadena...ok if you have the coupon for 10 liters of coke and chicken wings and other stuff having nothing to do with good pizza, go ahead, order somewhere else.\r

If you want the best pizza in Altadena and North Pasadena, call Pizza Joes. They have an acceptable garden salad, and a decent antipasto salad. If you want some greens with your pizza, go for it.\r

But the attraction here is just the pizza, thin crust, terrific sauce, not too much or too little of anything. If you want it a bit more "New York", ask for "Extra Crispy", for a bit more time in the oven (that's what I do.)\r

I usually stick with the pepperoni here, it's delicious, but the combos are great, too. They have sandwiches, calzones and whatnot, but I never get past the pizza when I order.\r
