Rutabagas is a tremendous addition to the Idaho Falls eating establishment. A charming nook of a restaurant, tucked away in a building down along the falls on the Snake River, it is a constant in serving wonderfully prepared dishes. The main course comes after a choice of soup or salad and the rolls served while you are waiting are one of the most enjoyable moments of the meal. Steak, seafood, and a selection of pastas round out an ever changing menu. Dishes are four star and seasoned to perfection. Prices are higher than surrounding restaurants, but worth every penny. My husband and I usually walk away with a $65 + bill and we have never regretted spending that amount. The servers make you feel like you are the only table they have and the atmosphere makes you want to linger.If you love well-prepared and upscale meals, this is a place you shouldn't miss.
