I was in my 30's the first time I had lobster but I have been making up for lost time at the Eastham Lobster Pool. In 1987, we made our first trip to Cape Cod. We discovered this restaurant - walking distance from our hotel - and now, we visit several times during our annual Cape vacations. The reason for such loyalty is their amazing, wonderful, perfect, positively deadly Lobster Stew.
For the uninitiated, Lobster Stew is chunks of lobster swimming in a creamy, butter-filled pool of sherry laced goodness.
I get a bowl or cup on every visit. Note - every third bowl, they give you a coupon for a free angioplasty.
You have to visit this place - get the stew and then send me a thank you.
