Review content:
I have read the reviews and would like to respond to the comments made. I have been a paralegal for 20 years and I have worked with Wendy Morgan these last 3 years. She is a litigating attorney but she is a skilled and highly regarded Family Law Mediator:\r
\r
Since there is no other way of helping the reader understand the process, this review is not intended as anything other than a rebuttal of comments made out of context.\r
1. Reviewing an attorney on Yelp is not like reviewing a hair stylist, a car dealer or a restaurant, where your opinion is all that counts. \r
The first statement made to me by a law professor when I trained in this field was 'There are no winners in Family Law'. Keeping that in mind, the comments made on this Yelp site are made by disgruntled clients or opposing parties who have been unable to prevail, sometimes because of their own personal situation, but most often because no one can predict the outcome of court action, and most people believe there is only one result. This is so far from the truth.\r
2. When things don't go well in court for a husband or wife, they may perceive Wendy as bad or nasty, but the truth is she is neither of those things. Angela V complains that she never want to go to Court. With the cost of attorneys fees, any decent attorney will avoid court action if they can. To reach a settlement is far more productive than duking it out in a court room, which can only result in depleted savings and less for everyone. \r
3. Wendy had issues with the State Bar over 13 years ago. These matter were long since resolved and now serve only as a cheap shot from cheap reviewers! Wendy is a Certified Family Law Specialist, accredited by the State Bar of California just two years ago. This is not an easy accreditation to earn. She is a brilliant mediator and always works towards the best resolution for everyone concerned.\r
I would recommend her to any of my friends as an intelligent, compassionate, hardworking attorney and mediator, who could serve as an example to many of her colleagues. If you wish to discuss this further, feel free to contact me. \r
Shame on assassination by cheap shot!\r
