I began my prenatal care w/Dr. Bass after becoming pregnant earlier this year after ecently moving to Phoenix. Prior to this I have had 3 other pregnancies, 2 miscarriages & 1 full-term unexplained stillbirth. Dr. Bass was wonderful, he didn't hesitate to make an appt for me when I was only 3w6d along; he ordered a battery of tests that no other Dr has ever offered to see if I had some condition that was overlooked in previous pregnancies; he offered me weekly ultrasounds until 14 weeks to confirm growth and viability; he sent me to specilaists when my test results came back abnormal; and he did not hesitate to prescribe medicines to help keep this pregnancy going. He understood my fears and was always very attuned and sensitive to them. He knew that I welcomed a high amount of intervention to have this baby and he is the only Dr I actually belived when he said nothing would happen to this baby. Unfortunately I had to move to CA & I have not been able to find anyone who even comes close to the care & concern & comfort he brought me. I'm 29 weeks now and seriously considering returning to AZ weekly just so I can have my Dr. Bass back. Ladies if you are in the Phoenix area this Dr is worth the trip. I can't say enough good things about him. I truly wish I could have him deliver. Pros: Bedside manner, williness to listen and ACT!, comfort Cons: long office wait times, noisy office, parking is very far away
