My physician ordered a CMP lab test for me, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel. This requires bloood drawn at a lab. I called around and was totally shocked at the incredible range of costs for someone without insurance and paying cash at time of service. Lab Corp was $46 plus $24 draw fee, $70! Quest Diagnostics was $44.99 plus $16.50 draw fee, $64.49! My physician's office was $38 plus $10 draw fee, $48. All these companies also required an appointment. PHYSICIANS REFERENCE LAB WAS A WALK IN APPOINTMENT AND CHARGED $21.50 PLUS $5.60 DRAW FEE, $26.10. Not only that...they were all incredibly nice people and did a fantastic job. I don't know any of these people from Adam...but this is definitely the best place in town.
Pros: $26.10 INSTEAD OF $70 FOR CMP LAB TEST!
Cons: NO CONS, WALK IN LAB-NO APPT NECESSARY
