Do yourself a favor - stay away from this place for any and all computer repair....even if Dell or HP says to take your ""in warranty"" PC here for repair. I recently had a motherboard fail in a 8 month old HP computer. Yeah its a major issue, but nothing say a new motherboard wouldn't fix. HP support claims this place is an authorized warranty repair center.\r
\r
In reality, this place refuses to service HP consumers as they claim HP does not pay them enough, or quickly enough for repair work. I call BS on this. Why keep yourself listed in HP's database if you no longer want to do business with its customers....they would rather just keep themselves as an authorized repair center to filter in customers. Knowing I would pay cash for my repair (as I did not want to send my PC out of state for the repair) Business Technology Center quoted me a price (on a Thursday) and said my equipment would be repaired and ready for pickup the following Friday...7 business days. I called them the next Tuesday to see what the progress was and even offered to pay them extra to get it done 2 days early. They quoted me a price again. I explained they had already done that and my PC was supposed to be repaired in 2 days...they seemed lost at this information. Like they never remembered me. This place was so void of customers I am surprised they can pay the power bill. I now know why.\r
\r
Anyways, I asked when they were going to get to work on this, they said the part was backordered. I called BS on that as there were several suppliers with my part in stock....""oh we dont deal with them""....WHAT !!????? So when were you all going to inform ME...the customer that the part was backordered...? When I came to pick up my repaired PC you've had for 7 days??? Unreal. The president of the company (who we'll call Neil) actually told me (a customer) well just come and get your computer then. In this economic climate, you can't do business this way...you will go bankrupt. And that is what my new part time job is....to see that this two-bit garage PC repair facility rapes no more consumers. BTC is forever doomed....\r
\r
Sorry BTC...you screwed the wrong customer. Please, in your spare time in the next few months, please Google yourselves to see how many review sites I have spit fire about you on...and then you will realize customers are why you are in business...not the other way around. Toodles....
