I saw Dr. Agha for the first time this Monday for many different symptoms including sever joint pain, fatigue, excessive sweating, headache, sore throat, weakness, fever, dizziness, weight loss, pink eye etc. The joint pain has been bothering me since October 2006. I'm a very thin person and even thinner that day because I had no appetite. He asked the question I ALWAYS get ""Do you have an eating disorder?"" I told him no and that my fathers whole family is rail thin.. We have incredible metabolisms. He never swabbed my throat for Strep and looked in my eye briefly because I was already using drops. He prescribed Prednisone, Doxycycline, and Celebrex and told me to call back Wednesday for the results. IN THE OFFICE he seemed to care and be concerned. I called on Wednesday to get my lab results and tests I mentioned to a nurse that I wanted to include symptoms of involuntary movement, and increased thirst. After I asked to speak directly with the doctor again I was give a nurse who told me that Dr. Agah said to go right to Presbyterian ER and that they are sending all of by records over to them. I got there, but all of the information did not. I called the office to see what was going on the nurse said ""We don't send them information, Dr. Agha wanted to send you for an evaluation. I asked to speak directly to the doctor and my husband continued the call. He told my husband that ""she is a very sick girl who has been going through this for 6 months and she is dehydrated probably because she has an eating disorder.? Obviously Dr. Agha doesn't take very good notes or doesn't listen to a work the patient says. \r In conclusion the wait time is ridiculous, the patient care has much to be desired and the staff seems to care less over the phone. I DO NOT recommend Dr. Agha and used this website to find him. Pros: Absolutely none! Cons: My letter speaks for itself.
