Review content:
I took my cat to Mission Pet Hospital for about four years. The vets always took a lot of time to explain things to me, in terms I could understand well enough to make decisions (I wish my own doctors were that good about explaining what was going on). The first time I brought him in spotted a heart condition in my cat, for which we successfully treated him for several years. Dr. Jennifer Scarlett had to deliver to me the sad news that he had terminal lymphoma, and did a great job of laying out the options, from kitty chemotherapy (which was unlikely to succeed), to more palliative treatment. She obviously cared a lot, and returned several phone calls about the treatment decisions. \r

I saw that some other reviewers mentioned issues with the receptionists being busy or nonattentive. Busy wouldn't surprise me, but I always found the people behind the desk very conscientious - just occasionally overwhelmed by the many pet owners who definitely gravitate towards this hospital.
Pros: Caring approach`
Cons: Can be busy
