No more Acid Reflux and no more daily medications! I am incredibly grateful for Dr. Mike Smith’s knowledge and ability! Over and over, I was told by doctors that I would have to be on a proton pump inhibitor for life (and I’m only 39)…while my body slowly but surely slowed down its ability to digest nutrients. My iron stores fell near 0! When I came to Dr. Smith, I was determined and desperate to get off of the drugs! Dr. Smith listened, had my blood work run and began to help me digest food again without heartburn. (My reflux was so bad at times that it had sent me to the ER twice…once in an ambulance thinking I was having a cardiac arrest.) The first 2 weeks were tough…but Dr. Smith said I could call anytime I needed to (which was often.) He helped me with supplements to keep me as comfortable as possible in the beginning and then to rebuild my body’s ability to digest well. It’s been 5 months now, and last week, I ate chili for first time in 10 years…with no reflux and no medication! This year, I plan to have Dr. Smith help me get back to my optimal weight.\r \r Dr. Smith is also going to begin seeing my son who has Asperger’s Syndrome. I am sold on the natural route to health! I unequivocally recommend Dr. Smith and his staff to anyone!
