Review content:
I used to manage a beauty supply store. I went into beauty center today, because I was looking for something higher end I'd purchased on vacation, and I thought they might have it. \r
\r
They didn't, so I asked the girl for something similar. She immediately steered me towards the $30-$45 dollare per bottle selection. When I said ""I used to manage a beauty supply store, so I know I can't afford that,"" She replied ""Well, this is higher end stuff. We don't sell drug store brands here."" The condescention in her voice was palpable...even though I'd said I was familiar with the brands, and am at least 10 years her senior. \r
\r
She then steered me towards the cheapest stuff they had - which is not what I was looking for. So, I walked out and searched for my product on the internet instead. \r
\r
I was seriously insulted. The condescention is something that might be ok in a better economy, but when fancy hair products are such a luxury, you can't afford to insult your customers. Not to mention, she seemed to have little knowledge of any mid-range products at all.
Pros: Good Selection
Cons: Salesperson wasn't helpful
