I had the most amazing experience with Dr. Mastey. I fell while skating with my children and broke my arm in three places and ""crushed it like a coke can"". I went to the ER that evening. Dr. Mastey came in to do my surgery even though he was not on call. Before they could even get me splinted they were preparing me for surgery. I only had to take the pain meds for about three to five days and was fine with Ibuprofen after that. Twelve days from the surgery, I went in for my first office follow-up and my wrist looked so good - they put me in a wrist support and I could use my hand. This is a HUGE deal for a mom with three kids, the youngest still in diapers! I have had some twinges that remind me that I did indeed break my arm, but if my arm never improved over what it is today (7 weeks out), I would be thrilled. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of a hand surgeon.
