Review content:
I had the absolute worst medical experience with Dr. Tomkin. He did a ""surgical"" procedure on me without any explanation, didn't tell me in advance what he was doing, that I would experience discomfort, NOTHING! I also found out after the office visit he was supposed to spray a local anesthetic in my nose and throat BEFORE this procedure is done, he never sprayed anyting. Of course my insurance was already bill the $170 for the doctors visit and $300 for a procedure that I never approved! I called his office after my appointment and spoke to the office manager, Audrey, told her what happened and she asked me if he sprayed my nose? I said what spray, then she just said, ""Oh"". I hope this NEVER happens to anyone else. After all these doctors make big bucks, who are they to mistreat the patients that pay for their lavish lifestyles! I have made a formal comlaint to the State Board of Pa, hopefully something gets done about this! DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!!!!! I have called several other local ENT doctors in the area and they ALL said it is ""normal"" care to tell the patient in advance what they are doing and also explain any discomfort, and absolutely spray a local anesthetic. Dr. Tomkin was very rushed and abrasive, he has an awful bedside manner. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DR. OR HIS OFFICE AT ALL!\r \r Pros: NOT ONE! Cons: THUMBS DOWN!!!!
