Review content:
We had gone here for years and loved it when the practice was still owned by Dr. Phillip Chaing. Unfortunately for us, Dr. Chaing retired and Dr. Millot took over! He got rid of all the existing staff that we loved and were so used to. Every time we visit now, it feels like a sales pitch for new fillings, teeth whitening, etc.
During our last visit, the staff applied a sealant to my 9 year old son's teeth for cavity protection. Somehow, the sealant burned my son's upper lip giving him what looked like a huge fever blister. We left that visit with my son scared of Dr. Millot and never wanting to go back.
A few weeks later, we received a bill (for the first time ever) in the mail saying we owed money. I called my insurance co. and they said it was because I was not due for x-rays and the dental office administered them anyway. I refused to pay because I felt like it is the dental offices responsibility to find out what we are covered for and what we are not before they perform any procedures.
Unfortunately again, Las Palmas turned me into a collection agency and I had to pay the bill regardless.
Needless to say, we will take our family, and our PPO plan elsewhere and you should too!
