I love Dr. Nathan and Prytania Veterinary Hospital! They are absolutely wonderful! When I initially moved to New Orleans I took my dog here, but I left and took her to another vet, Dr. Saacks stay away at all costs, and thankfully have now found my way back to Prytania Veterinary Hospital.
My previous vet, Dr. Saacks, refused to refill my dog's heart worm prescription, had her on nearly 3x the amount of thyroid medicine a dog her size should be on, and double charged me for medication then refused to reimburse me for the overages.
Prytania Vet and Dr. Nathan gave my dog a FREE heart worm test, results were negative, and explained the whole process in a very caring and comfortable manner. Dr. Nathan makes me feel good about my dogs healthcare, and we can't wait to continue working with her and the staff at Prytania. I can't image taking my dog anywhere else now!
Another cool aspect of Prytania Vet is they match any online pharmacy's price for pet medications, just print out the online ad before you come in (and if you forget, ask nicely and the girls up front might search the internet and find a good deal for you!). They also have an online ""Pet Portal"" that allows you to have access to your dogs medical information from anywhere. Great for vacations and hurricane evacuations!
