Review content:
I am absolutely shocked that anyone has given this vet a good review. I love animals more than humans, and I plead all animal owners to not come to this veterinarian.\r I now live in Houston, but my mom and my first dog, Winston, still live in Amarillo. My mom has taken Winston to this horrible place for years, and I have told her time and time again to stop going, but she goes because it's just down the street from where she lives.\r Well, finally she has seen the light. Winston was having trouble urinating, so she took him to Coulter Animal Hospital, and the man did not even offer to do an x-ray. All he did was suggest my mom ""try"" to give him some antibiotics. Well, it turns out that Winston had bladder stones that had come out of the bladder and were stuck in the urethra (and this cannot be taken care of with antibiotics!) This is very dangerous for dogs, and it should have been taken care of when she first went to Coulter Animal Hospital. \r My mom had to take Winston to an emergency clinic late last night, and the vet there was absolutely appalled that Coulter Animal Hospital did not take an x-ray. \r \r In addition, I was told by the breeder I got my other 2 dogs from to never take small animals to a vet that also works on large animals (horses, etc). These kinds of vets can easily overlook the subtleties that are required for such small animals. Not to mention that the staff that works at this place is down right rude. I could overlook the staff if the vet was top notch, however, he is far from it. \r \r Please do not take your precious animals to Coulter Animal Hospital.
