Review content:
I moved to Pittsburgh 3 years ago and have been taking my dog and cat to the Point Breeze Veterinary Clinic ever since. The staff are incredibly friendly - on the whole - and I'm never asked to wait more than 15 minutes. I have had appointments with three different vets but the best, friendliest, and most knowledgeable seems to be Dr. Simard. She has a wonderful way with animals and seems to love them even though she must see them all day every day. She always explains what's she's doing to me and doesn't seem to make me pay for unnecessary tests when my animals are sick. In my 20 years of pet ownership I have never felt more comfortable or happy with a vet. I also saw Dr. Schroth and she too was great and friendly. I wouldn't recommend the younger female vet ( I can't remember her name, perhaps it's Melanie), however. She didn't really appear to know what she was doing and didn't really seem to want to go the extra mile with my animals. The staff don't seem to respond well to her either.
