NORTH BERKELEY DENTAL ARTS (formerly NATHAN G. KAUFMAN's DENTAL \r
OFFICE) - still the Best Dental Office for everyone and whole \r
families. \r
\r
I haven't seen a dentist in a year and a half because I've \r
had ''extremely'' bad experiences with a couple of them in Los \r
Angeles. Last one I had was an extraction that took over an hour \r
to happen, I was crying all the time, and it was horrible. \r
\r
I was so thankful I found North Berkeley Dental Arts. I have \r
heard about Dr. Nathan Kaufman before and I know he is a household \r
name when it comes to dental care and research in the East bay. \r
\r
I went to see them, and I met instead, Dr. Allan Sio and Dr. \r
Vince Lim, who are Dr. Kaufman's successor to his practice.\r
\r
I was so astounded. These guys are the best. Very Very friendly \r
and caring i.e. they take time to listen and more time to \r
explain their diagnosis and treatment approach. There is no \r
pressure whatsoever, on whatever and however you wanted to undergo \r
therapy options. Very very competent and knowledgable. \r
Aside from offering ""familiar"" approaches on my dental care needs, \r
I was even informed of newer and up-to-date ways, on how I can get \r
a healthier mouth and maintain it. \r
\r
Also very very gentle. I was in for 2 extractions and in 40 \r
minutes I'm out. I never had any discomfort all throughout the \r
procedure. I was even surprised it was over in such a short \r
time - never felt a thing. Dr. Lim had the lightest and gentlest \r
hand I've had an extraction with. Also weeks earlier, I had as \r
well, several fillings by Dr. Sio, who is really very calming and patient.\r
He knew I was scared but worked with me thru it and at I got an excellently \r
restored tooth I am so happy with. I wrote this because I'm so glad to \r
have a dentist I can keep, and maybe others out there deserve the same.\r
\r
They make seeing the dentist \r
""VERY VERY ENCOURAGING"", and look, I'm a dental phobic talking.\r
