Review content:
From the moment I walked into this club it was bad news. I asked for a tour but was told by the obviously distracted front desk person that ""nobody's here yet"" (it was 9:25a.m. on a Friday) so I would have to wait for a tour and pricing. Later that day I returned and was made to wait another 30 minutes before being given a tour by a woman (Donna I think) who had no interest in my goals or needs, she seemed more interested in my financial . When I asked to workout I was told they did not give guest passes. I insisted if they wanted my business I wanted to work out. After spending 20minutes asking others what to do she shuffled me off to an ?Operations Manager"" who made me pay $20 to use the club, I did so in order to gauge my workout experience. I was appalled at the level of service. I asked several trainers, I had to ask their names as they weren?t wearing name tags. (Constance and Quinn) for help and they directed me to an unmanned desk where they said someone could help me. nobody did as I stood for 5 minutes. When I returned to the trainer (Constance) she told me that ?she was busy with a client? and couldn?t assist me. I wasn?t even acknowledged by any other members of the fitness staff, the only person who did was a housekeeper who noticed me looking around for the bathroom (not one on the fitness floor). I would say this was a terrible experience. The lockeroom smelled, the floor was dirty and the showers where filthy. The hot-tub looked like a foam experiment and the steamroon smelled like a sewer. Wow what a disappointment from a place that says it?s ?The best workout facility in Chicago? according to a local magazine. Hardly. When I called to complain I received a very surly gentleman named Jeff who claimed he was the General Manager. After listening to my review he started to argue points of it with me rushed me off the phone without even apologizing for his clubs condition or staffs rudeness. Terrible experience overall, wouldn?t step foot in another one. Cons: Ignorant staff
