in 10 years i have yet to find anyone i could trust more with my appearance!
i have followed ruby from salon to salon since i was high school and couldn't have been more excited when i discovered she opened her own, because nobody can get my eyebrows as perfectly as she can,in undergrad and graduate school i moved around a bit and dearfully regretted each new place i was forced to try for threading and waxing(stony brook,queens,even Manhattan) Each time ruby has kindly and patiently helped me fix the awkward shaping,over plucking etc that myself and others have caused & i continue to get compliments on the shaping she achieves.in fact,recently moved to PA and i wait till i come back and visit my mom so i can go threading.
as for waxing over time, i have gone for every service aside from the face(which i leave for threading b/c i have sensitive skin) and i have always had a pleasant,VERY CLEAN,quick,minimally pain for waxing,not awkward experience (and that is saying a lot considering i am big awkward baby)
the salon is very cute clean,efficient,warm,& friendly.my best friend is a dresser so i don't go to salons for those types of services but i have seen quite afew smiling women in and out for hair and facials etc.the salon also has a nice collection of new OPI nail polish colors,amongst others AND a cute selection of little bags and other fashionable gifts that i have to pull myself away from.
every friend i have recommended continues to go back this place really is the Best
