Review content:
Having grown up in New Jersey, New York, and Boston, I have been looking for a great New York style pizza place. Based on the advice of fellow New York transplants, I thought I would give it a try. Service despite other online reviews was quite personable and friendly. Price was a little bit more than I woulod have liked, but on par with what those CHAIN stores charge, but with a much better product. Another bonus was he offers military discount of 10%. I picked two pies up steaming hot ans couldn't wait to try them at home. Upon first bite, my eyes sparkled a little and I thought had I found a Great New York style pizza finally in FL? The sauce is delightful, with a little kick. Unfortunately that is where the joy ends. Both pies were greasy, one was cheese and the other was sausage/pepperoni. Additionally, I found the inner crust to be carboard like. Once you reach the outer crust it becomes quite good again, nice and thick covered with that delightful sauce. Overall, I would rate this experience as average and will most likely look for another pizza joint in search of the perfect pie. Hope this helps.
Pros: Sauce
Cons: Ambience brought me back to my youth, but not my adulthood
