Review content:
OK. I had to write a review about this place, because like most of you I am CRAZY about my dog.
I used to take my dog to this ""cage free"" place where they never separated my dog from the other dogs. Also the place I went to had a bed for the overnight person to go to sleep. Sounds a little stupid if your supposed to be watching dogs In my opinion you shouldn't be sleeping.
The biggest problem I had with that ""cage free"" place was my dog was not able to relax at night. He was constantly on guard, and as a result came home and slept for literally 3 days. At first I thought it was because he was playing a lot, but after a few times of taking him there I realized he had such anxiety at night and was constantly watching his back - He needed his space at night. His own room!
Then I found Rover, and my (and my dogs) life changed. Firstly Rover has 4 big play areas and my boy gets to play ALL day. But when he eats and sleeps he gets his own room. Plus THERE IS NO BED on the premises. Rover does not let their overnight person go to sleep. He is actually watching the dogs. WOW someone actually getting paid to do what they SHOULD be doing, what a novel idea.
After getting my baby home from Rover he was much happier and didn't seem as if he had been drugged with valium.
Another HUGE reason why that other place sucked was because if I didn't pick up my dog during business hours they kept my boy there overnight, and charged me for a full night. Rover lets me pick up my dog after hours. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
If anyone is even considering bringing their loved one to a ""cage free"" place where they never separate their dogs just ask them 2 questions.
1) Where and how do they feed all of the dogs?, and
2) Do you have a bed here for your overnight person? If they say yes, but they don't sleep, then ask yourself this question.
Why the hell do you have a bed for your overnight person?
Thank you again Rover, you have truly changed my life.
Pros: late pick up, big play areas, large rooms, everything
Cons: I'm not allowed stay there!
