Review content:
This gym is at the same location as the former Belleville Powerhouse gym, and is a vast improvement. I enjoy the gym. The price is good, the place is relatively clean, and they have a good selection of cardio and weight lifting equipment. I also appreciate that it's open 24 hours, for those of us who prefer to work out later at night.
There are a few down sides. While it is open 24 hours, it is only staffed a few hours per day, so there is no one to turn to if the need arises. Like when the disinfectant wipes run out, or the bathroom needs to be attended to. Also, ONLY the staff can change the channels on the 4 televisions on the wall, so anyone working out there had better REALLY like ABC, ESPN, MTV and E!. Would it kill them to leave a remote control out? Otherwise, the biggest TV screen plays whatever video they rented for the week. (Sometimes this is good; other times, not so much.)
Pros: Open 24 hours, good equipment
Cons: Could use more staffed hours
