Review content:
There are not many places like Midcity Cafe in Atlanta. It's like your local bar except that it's not a dive. Many of the hanger-outers are residents of Midcity Lofts, upstairs, but pretty much everyone gets treated like family if you come more than once. It's the perfect place to frontload before walking over to Halo. On weekends, when Halo, gets too crowded, its a perfect escape. Because Midcity is so small, it's the best place I have found in Atlanta to meet people (guys or girls) in a non-meat-market atmosphere. You just have to talk to people because they are standing right next to you. Decent food and a great drink selection served by some of the cutest (male and female) bartenders in town, make it a fun place to go alone or with friends. Perfect place for a casual business lunch or a fun night out with friends.
Pros: Friendly, attractive staff; great location, amazing front deck
Cons: Can get crowded if the deck is closed because of rain or cold
