Review content:
I wrote this review once but it was deleted. Dr. Ramirez was the attending psychiatrist at the time of my son's death on Christmas Day; December 25, 2009. The chemistry between my son and Dr. Ramirez never reached a comfortable level. Dr. Ramirez came across as pompous and arrogant and never seemed to fully listen to my son during his appointments. He asked about but never guided him toward counseling. My son suffered from major depression, insomnia, anxiety, agorophobia and had an addictive personality. He never found the right combination to fight the symptoms that my son displayed. The visits were never handled with concern. My son was another random out-patient receiving aid no less as his jobs did not offer insurance. My son died from an overdose; listed accidental but in my heart I will never be sure. Dr. Ramirez failed my son. His sisters also lost a father figure , a brother, a coach, and a best friend.
