The doctor at BMC Urgent Care East Side (Randall Jacobs) saved my life. I had never been so sick in my life and it went on for over 2 months. I had been to High Lakes Health Care MANY times & ER 3 times - none ran the appropriate tests. I couldn't care for my child, I couldn't work. After vomiting blood one morning I finally went to BMC urgent care. Dr Jacobs ran the full battery of tests and said ""we're going to find out what's causing this"". Hours later he called me personally to say I had a TREATABLE parasite. I cried I was so happy to finally know I would get better. I had some billing problems a few years ago with BMC and didn't think I would go back but have since switched all my care to them. They are a big clinic so sometimes billing/appointments are bit ""removed"" from the docs . . .but when you get sick there is no one better! After being untreated for so long it took me 8 months to get my life back to ""normal"" . . .it made me appreciate my family and my health a lot more but next time I think I'll go straight to BMC. Thank you Dr. Jacobs!
