I needed to see a dermatologist due to my family history of skin cancer. I made an appointment to have a mole looked at. The nurse I saw removed it. I went back a month later for my follow up and the same nurse did a 10 minute body check, though from speaking to other family members that have had it done, she did not check everywhere. During that appointment she removed 2 moles and a freckle. (the appointment lasted 15 minutes) When my test results came back as moderate dysplasia on both of my moles, I made an appointment for the next day. I thought I was going in to have the areas cut out. But to my disbelief, that did no happen. I saw Dr. Blaskis for a total of 5 minutes. He told me my results, SCRAPED the 2 areas again. I asked if about cutting the area out. He told me it wasn't necessary. I tried to ask about my previous results, though it seemed he was more interested in walking out the door. I am now in the process of finding a dermatologist. Pros: No waiting on day of appointment Cons: no compassion...no care
