Businiess name:  Francois Chocolate Bar

Review content:
Many New Yorkers were saddened when Payard Patisserie shuttered it's doors a few months ago. The good news is that Payard has reopened, this time in the form of a chocolate bar. Francois Chocolate Bar can be found nestled in the 4th floor of Mauboussin, a high end jewelry store on Madison Avenue. You'll feel like James Bond stealthily making your way to the elevator amid all those priceless jewels. Head straight to the rear of the store to the posh and cushioned elevators that await to transport you to chocolate heaven.\r \r The chocolate bar feels very much like a quaint cafe. The decor is bright and the vibe is welcoming, unlike what you might expect from Madison Avenue shops. The desserts at the counter all look so delicious it was hard not to order them all. I opted for the George V, a dark chocolate mousse pastry, and the Tout Chocolat Verrine, layers of dark chocolate in a small glass. My beverage of choice was the Milk Hot Chocolate with Nutella Syrup. Everything was amazing, even by chocoholic standards. Although the selections are limited, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. \r \r When January rolls around be sure to order the galette des rois. Share in this French tradition by finding the prize hidden within the cake to earn the rights to be King for the Day. Pros: Feels like you've entered into an elite chocolate club Cons: Closes early, limited seating
