I am happy with the service that I received from Royal Maid service, but disappointed with the amount I paid and the price stucture. I moved into a 5 year old home and I wante to have it cleaned before I moved all of my things into the home. I spoke with Royal Maid service and they agreed to send someone out. The people that cleaned the home were very nice and did a nice job, I have no complaints with the service. The thing that I don't agree with is that their rates are based more on the size of the home than the size of the job. They look at how many rooms they are going to clean and how many windows there are and their price structure is based primarily on those figures. They came and cleaned an empty house and did the windows in just over 2 hours but I paid for a service rate that I felt was what they would charge for a full day's work becuase the house is pretty large. But an empty house is much easier to clan and it was a lot quicker than a house of the same size full of furniture. Aagain, the service was fine and ladies were all very pleasant, but the price for value was not very good.
