If spending $3,000 a month for a 263 square foot room plus meals, medications, and a nice social calendar is what you are looking for, then this place will work for you. However, if you need Assistance at this Assisted Living Facilitiy, such as changing clothes on a daily basis, 100% accurate medication administration, monitoring during the night beyond simple bed checks, assurance that you, or your loved one, makes it to mealtime, then this place is not staffed and you can expect a phone call at 02:15 telling you that you need to come and stay with your loved one till you can find another place to live. And then after you take your Mother home with you at 3am because you would have had her at home if you could have stayed with her, you are told if you get a Drs letter stating she is no longer appropriate for Assisted living they will wave the 30 day notice. But the Drs letter said ""In her best interest"" instead of ""mandatory"" so they withhold a refund for a 14 day notice. and the refund is based on a pervioulsy lower rate, not the rate actually paid. ""Sorry, this is what coprorate came up with."" \r Regarding Medications, Mom is supposed to get a daily Patch to delay the Porgression of her Alzheimer's. O m several occasions, she has not had one on. If he rpatch is missing, how do I know she also got her pills. Discussed with the lead Nurse abd she referred me to th e on duty Nurse. After leaving, we reviewed her Meidcagions for transfer to a New facility and found that one of hermedications was listed on the Medication Adminsitration record but had not been signed off as given or distributed by the phamracy since December 2011. with 90 day prescriptions, she has been without this medication from at elast March to July. \r Regarding making it to meals: I arrived at 1:20 a few weeks ago to take Mom to an appointment. She was not in her room, the dining room, or the activity area. Other residents said she had missed lunch. The activity assistant said she had seen her going into the hall bathroom just before lunch (~11:45). I found her in this bathroom, constipated. I had to deal with the constipation as the Nurse needed a Drs order. This is understabdable. But what is not is that she had been in the bathroom for 1.5 hours over lunch and no one had come to see why she was not eating. I asked the Lead Nurse about this.afer checking, she said "" She was checked off as having been to lunch."" At best, they checked her off when she started up the hall to go to lunch without verifying her actual arrival. At worst, they are falsifying their checklists. \r \r
