Review content:
As a displaced New Orleanian who travels a lot, I am always on the lookout for New Orleans food. On a recent trip tp San Diego I looked up ""New Orleans Restaurants"" on City Search and thought I would give this one a try. This restaurant made me soooo homesick. The food was incredible. The crawfish ettoufee was even better than mine! The chicken and sausage gumbo had me almost licking the bowl when I ran out of the yummy french bread. And DO NOT pass up the bread pudding.\r
I chatted with the charming co-owners of the restaurant, Mark & Humberto. Mark who plans the menu and helps his chef with the cooking is a native New Orleanian, and it shows in their menu. The restaurant has an indoor dining room, and an outside courtyard-like dining area that is reminiscent of a French Quarter court yard.\r
If you are ever in San Diego, or especially if you live there, treat your taste buds to this restaurant.\r
Pros: The food and service
