All I can say is WOW! KUDO""S TO WOODCREEK STAFF!\r
What a Huge difference. I'm used to waiting an hour to an hour and a half to get in to the examining room, and then waiting another half hour to 45 minutes for the Doctor to come in. \r
Today, OUR FIRST VISIT to Woodcreek I didn't have to wait at all. \r
The receptionist was professional, courteous and very efficient. \r
The nurse greeted us like she was genuinely pleased to meet us. She did a thorough intake entering my grand daughters information directly onto a computer, was very thorough in asking questions, listened to my answers and questions and responded kindly and sincerely like we really mattered. She was thorough and efficient, and within a matter of a few minutes left and told us my grand daughters NEW Doctor would be in shortly. I barely had time to get my disabled grand daughter undressed and into her gown and the Doctor was knocking on the door ready to examine her. She \r
had brought with her the medical records I had given to her nurse to make copies of for them to keep. \r
She introduced herself and gave me some pertinent information regarding her field of expertise and reassured me she had the qualifications to care for my grand daughter. She did a thorough intake right onto the computer about my grand daughter. She asked important questions, gave me time to answer, gave me time to ask questions and took the time to answer my questions and concerns. She corrected a prescription my grand daughters previous Doctor (not with Woodcreek) had prescribed, that the dosage was for an adult. My grand daughter is eleven and a very small eleven year old. She took care of the prescription change immediately online as we spoke. She also referred my grand daughter to an allergy specialist as we spoke, and automatically wrote prescriptions to Good Samaritan Therapy Unit for OT/PT/Speech Therapy and orthotics. \r
My grand daughters last Doctor (not with Woodcreek) would have taken weeks or months to accomplish what she did in about a total of a half hour.\r
I signed forms for several Doctors to release her medical records to her new Doctor, Dr. Yuen. \r
I'm so ecstatic that the intake person set my grand daughter up with Dr. Yuen, a genetic specialist. She is a perfect fit for my grand daughter. \r
This was the most productive Dr. appointment my grand daughter has had in years. I am so impressed with the staff at Woodcreek.\r
Kudo's to all of them. We are so grateful to have such a \r
high quality of care,..........finally. I wish we'd have found Woodcreek and their wonderful staff and Dr. Yuen years ago. I'm really excited about my grand daughter's future with them. Finally she has a team of people that truly care about her and want to make her life better, instead of making me feel like I'm putting someone out by asking them to do their job.
