First off, no coffee. At brunch. I feel like if you're a restaurant planning to go to the effort of serving brunch, SERVE COFFEE! Secondly, the food is really bland. It's Manhattan brunch prices for corner diner food. If you can make an omelet with tomatoes and peppers, then you could be the next chef at 5 Burro Cafe. To call it 'pedestrian' would be an undeserved compliment.\r

As is noticed by other reviewers, the service is really terrible. You'll sit with your menu for a good long time before ordering even a drink, then sit with your empty plate for a long time, then sit with your bill and credit card... And this is not on a busy day, it's just difficult to drag the waitress away from the end of the bar where she's watching TV and hobnobbing with the other servers.\r

Do yourself a favor. Go someplace else.
