Dr Vandaele has very bad bedside manorism. Sent my 17 year old daughter for her well woman visit today and she left there in tears. She was told by Dr Vandaele that she was fat and needed to loose weight and join a gym. My daughter is 5'9 and not obese, she is a size 11, very perportioned, could maybe loose 5 pounds but NOT obese...she was crushed and upset in the way the Dr said to her to loose weight. As she was telling my daughter this my daughter saw a book in her office that said Russian never get fat! Dr Vandaele did not know what my daughter has been thru and the depression and bullying , for not being a small petite girl, maybe she should have asked some more questions before flat out telling her she was fat and loose weight. When we confronted her on the phone about it she was very much not concerned, and acted as if she did no wrong, She is not a dietician , she is a gynocologist, and she just assumed that my daughter over eatsor something, maybe she should have looked in her records to see maybe she gained a few pounds from the birth control she put her on !!!! We will not be back to her ,
