Baron's is a quiet little place located in the back of the Galaria Shopping Center in restaurant row, so if you don't know about it, you may never find it. It's definitely a local's secret, and one of the finest five-star restaurants on the Grand Strand. They are a bit pricey, but oh, the food is subliime. It's a bit fancier than the food at Greg Norman's but several of their dishes are good enough to die for. You'll find things like a filet, nestled in a portobello mushroom cap, with crab meat and bernaise sauce on top...OMG you can't imagine how good that is! They have many well prepared seafood dishes, some excellent lower priced beef tips that are still gourmet quality, and a full bar and wine selection. This is class all the way and a wonderful place for a couple to discover and enjoy. No kids, please! Well, maybe an older child that is well behaved, just to introduce them to the good life!
