It is with the greatest regret that I feel compelled to inform the public about a serious lapse in the ethics of this firm. The firm is contracted as the City Attorney for the City of Alachua. The City of Alachua has been engaged in numerous activities which do not conform to the laws or the standards of ethics for a public agency and/or officials. As a public official - the firm of Rush & Glassman, in particular through the direct activities of Marian Rush, has participated in extremely questionable activities and has enabled the City to continue its questionable activities. \r \r It is the obligation of City Attorney, which must be distinguished from an attorney representing a client in litigation, to represent the PUBLIC interest and to ENSURE that the City does not violate the law.
