I had been a loyal month-to-month customer here for nearly 4 years. No longer. Never again. \r

After being concerned about constant rate increases, I checked the web site to find I was being charged $600 more per year than the advertised price.\r

Figuring this was one of those arrangements big companies are infamous for (you know the drill where you need to constantly call to get the right price) I called Extra Space corporate. They implied that I?d have no problem getting a rate decrease from the local facility, and forwarded my information.\r

Not so. I was told (with somewhat patronizing disdain) that I couldn?t expect to pay the current market precisely BECAUSE I was a longtime customer who had already been through a number of rate-increases. \r

Robert (the proprietor) was quite clear (frankly refreshingly so, for such a dishonest practice) that customers are charged not based on the advertised price but on the length of time they
