I was very sorry to realize that the Humane Society for Greater Savannah does not have a TNR program. The HSUS's statistic has proven that 80 % of kitten intake in any shelter comes from free roaming cats.\r Rather than going through the cost and heartache of euthanizing cats and kittens, wouldn't it make more sense to "pay forward" and sterilizing the animals? The saying that it "takes a village" to do such a project is correct. It will take education and initiative to establish such a program which benefits everybody. \r I cannot believe that the good people from the greater Savannah area would not be willing to step in and help given the chance. \r Please give trap-neuter-return a chance and join many other humane organizations all over the country. \r I am attaching a video from the Stray Cat Alliance hoping you can open it.\r Thanks for your consideration\r http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5M7Tf_xzCWE&feature=youtu.be&utm_source=ISLA+holiday+year+in+review+2012&utm_campaign=I+Spayed+
