- Blaine, a short blonde haired gal, had me sign document stating there was no body damage to the vehicle I was renting. However, I soon discovered a huge scratch on passenger door that I did not notice while it was under their shadow laden enclosure. To avoid having to pay for the damage, I had to make a special trip back to Enterprise.\r \r I normally look over the vehicle thoroughly, but it was somewhat dark under the enclosure and the passenger side was a bit obscured by shadow. I also made the mistake of sitting inside the car with the employee, at her request, before I had a chance to look it over fully. \r \r The mechanical condition of the car was not ideal, either. Its brakes were unusually soft (probably needed replacing) and there was no windshield wiper fluid. \r \r Upon returning the vehicle, I spoke to Damian, a management trainee. He was sincerely apologetic, and offered a free upgrade in my next rental, which I appreciated. I am taken aback, however, by the lack of qual
