I worked at Animal Hospital of Streamwood from January of 2000 to November of 2002 (I only left because my father died and I had to move back to Texas) This Hospital is not the cheapest because they use the most up to date equipment and pay their employees what they are worth, unlike many clinics. In this economy their costs have risen, and as their costs go up, the consumers costs do also; although I know for a fact that they avoided raising costs as much as possible and sacrificed profits for clients pets health. When I relocated to Texas I worked briefly for a "cheaper" vet and was appalled at the condition and lack of interest from the owner in updating anything. Plus nobody can MAKE you feel guilty..you did that to yourself.
