Review content:
We moved to this area very recently and were thrilled to find a library within walking distance. The Wright Library is not part of the Dayton Metro Library system, but is on its own. We like the convenience, and especially like the Audio-Visual department, which has a good selection of CDs and DVDs. The fiction department is a little small, and the waiting list for some books seems to take forever. I'm willing to overlook that, though, since their childrens' section is fairly good. I do wish they didn't put the due date on the books with stickers, but that's a minor quibble. Maybe they'll update to a receipt system and be able to do away with that. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the library is a real fixture in the community. The one sad point is that their hours are shorter on Saturdays than most librarys, but they compensate by being open on Sundays, which is nice. PROS: Friendly staff, good collection for a library of its size CONS: Small fiction collection,
