From the moment I spoke to Shamrock's representative, Jessica, by phone to arrange the move one week ago, everything went smoothly. The two movers, Jesus and Elvin, arrived promptly, were courteous, EXTREMELY hard-working, and careful with my often bulky and heavy furniture. I can't express enough how grateful I felt to be working with the two of them. They did everything with efficiency and good humor. The job was to have taken about 4 hours but went over (my fault with so much junk!).
Originally, I was advised to use Starving Students but, when I saw the terrible reviews, decided against them and found Shamrock listed. Shamrock had no bad reviews in the past 1 1/2 years. I had used them about 15 years ago to move a sofa from SF to Oakland and they were good but hadn't thought of using them for a bigger move until I saw the rating (A+).
I couldn't be more pleased; the movers were absolutely THE BEST. I have used several other movers in the past but Shamrock is really the way to go if you want to eliminate the headaches and have a pleasurable moving experience.
