Review content:
I have read others reviews and while I agree the care is adequate, it comes with a big price. People often don't price compare one vets charges vs. another, but I think they should. Dr. Coll's prices are too high. She even charges for nail trimming $5.00, unlike many vets that do it free of charge when your pet is seen for a routine visit. Another example, her cost to spay a dog is crazy, @$250.00, when you could go to c-snip or spay/neuter express and pay $65.00. \r \r Further, Dr. Coll does not work a full work week, leaving you to make other arrangements. My dog was sick on a Tuesday afternoon, but when I called the office at 3:45, they told me Dr. Coll wasn't there on Tuesday afternoons. Instead, they referred me to an emergency animal hospital where I would be charged an ""emergency rate"", I instead took her to my former vet and paid a fair price. Sidenote: I changed vets due to moving (he is out in Lowell), but even with the cost of gas, he is much cheaper and gives exceptional care. He provides emergency service 24hrs. a day, 7 days a week. \r \r My advice, shop around and price compare vets. We all want a kind, compassionate and competent vet, but also one that is fairly priced and available. \r \r
