What this place did to our dog is inexcusable! What should have been a small emergency case of rest and re-hydration for a dog has turned into a life and death situation exacerbated by a vet too incompetent to actually care for our dog. If you value your pet I would stay far away from SCAH! \r \r While my husband and I were out of town this week (04/05/08), we put our dog in "day care." While he was there he stopped eating/drinking. The day care felt that it was an emergency and took him to SCAH. \r \r We rushed back to town as fast as we could and taken to the back of the animal hospital where we found our dog in a kennel with an IV in his paw, soaking in his own urine. We were pretty horrified about the state of our pet. The back of the animal hospital was total chaos, we could not find the attending vet and the staff could not be bothered to assist us. \r \r We had to leave our dog overnight so that he could be re-hydrated. When we came back the next day we were presented with a bill that
